ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION

Account & subscriptions

Handle account setup, client access, subscription syncing and device changes. For these issues, verify the account before changing client settings.

Do I need an email address to create a QhVPN account?

No. You can create an account with a username and password. Save your credentials securely and avoid entering inconsistent account details on different devices. After setup, use the user panel to view plans, get clients and manage your subscription.

Which operating systems does QhVPN support?

Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. Client downloads and subscription access are available in the user panel. Sign in to get the content for your current operating system. Do not copy installation files or subscription links from unfamiliar pages.

How do I update my subscription link?

First, copy the current subscription again from the user panel, then open the client’s subscription management area and update it. If old routes still appear, delete the local subscription and import it again. Before starting, confirm that you are signed in to the original account so subscriptions from different accounts are not mixed in one configuration.

Do I need to buy another plan when I change devices?

No. Changing devices does not require another purchase. QhVPN supports unlimited devices, so the same account’s active subscription can be used on Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. On the new device, sign in to the user panel and download the client and subscription again.

Why can’t I see my newly updated plan in the client?

Sign out of the user panel and sign in again, then copy the current subscription from the panel and update it in the client. If the client has retained an old cache, remove the old subscription and import it again. If it still does not sync, submit a ticket from the user panel with the order status, operating system and message currently shown by the client.

CONNECTION / FAULT

Connections & issues

A connected status does not mean all traffic is being routed as expected. Troubleshoot layer by layer through webpages, app rules, subscription status and DNS behavior.

The client says it is connected, but webpages will not open. What should I do?

Disconnect first, switch to another route and reconnect, then test several different websites. If no websites open, check the system time, proxy switch and network permissions, and temporarily disable other tools that may also be taking control of the network. Re-enable them one at a time after service returns to identify the conflict.

Why isn’t a particular app using the proxy?

Common causes include per-app rules, bypass rules or a setting that proxies browser traffic only. Open the client’s routing or app-rules page and confirm that the target app is included in the proxy scope. After changing the rule, fully close the app and reopen it so an old connection does not continue using the previous path.

How should I troubleshoot a failed subscription update?

Confirm that the plan is still active and copy the subscription again from the user panel. Then check for spaces before or after the pasted content, confirm that the client allows remote subscription updates, and make sure the current network can open the user panel. If the old subscription keeps failing, deleting it and importing it again usually makes the problem easier to isolate.

What should I do if iOS or Android disconnects frequently in the background?

First, confirm that the system has not restricted the client’s background activity or network permissions. On Android, check battery-saving policies and background activity permissions; on iOS, check that the VPN configuration is still enabled. Return to the client to observe the connection status, then select another route and reconnect if needed.

How can I tell whether there is a DNS problem?

If the client shows a connection but some domains remain inaccessible while other services open normally, DNS resolution may be involved. Switch routes and reconnect first, then clear the system network cache. Do not enable multiple tools that modify DNS or proxy settings at the same time, as they may overwrite one another’s resolution paths.

SPEED / ROUTING

Speed & routes

Speed checks require a fixed test task. Do not change the route, app, browser and local network at the same time, or the real variable will be impossible to identify.

What should I check first if the connection works but speeds are still slow?

Use the local network to access familiar services directly and check that the underlying connection is stable. Then test routes near your location and routes in the region where the target service is hosted. Downloads, video and web browsing have different route requirements, so choose based on the task instead of staying on one route permanently.

How should I handle slowdowns during evening peak hours?

During peak hours, avoid repeatedly reinstalling the client. Note the current route and symptoms, then compare other routes in the same region. For video, reduce playback buffering pressure first; for work, prioritize a stable connection. If several routes perform similarly, check for congestion on the local network.

Should I choose a route based on distance or purpose?

For general access, start with a route geographically close to you. For content in a specific region, choose an exit matching the target region. Distance is only one factor; actual results also depend on the local carrier network, the target service’s routing and current link conditions. Compare routes using the same task.

Streaming connects but playback does not start. What should I do?

Confirm that the selected route matches the region of the target content, then fully close and reopen the streaming app. If the app has retained an old regional cache, clear it or reconnect. Platforms may change how they identify regions, so first test routes marked on the route page as suitable for the relevant use case.

How should I choose a route when AI tools are unstable?

Prioritize a stable route in a region supported by the target tool, and keep the exit region consistent throughout the session. Frequently switching regions may require the sign-in state and requests to be re-established. If something goes wrong, switch to another route in the same region instead of changing the account, browser and network settings at once.

Where does QhVPN offer route coverage?

QhVPN covers 90+ countries / 200+ routes. Narrow your choices by location, target service region and intended use, then compare them with the same access task. The number of routes provides more path options; it does not mean the farthest exit is best for every situation.

BILLING / REFUND

Billing & refunds

Monthly plans and data packages work differently. Before choosing, consider whether your usage is consistent, then select either monthly resets or data that lasts until used.

What monthly plans and data allowances are available?

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Consider your usual web browsing, video, file transfers and multi-device use when choosing. Plan details and current order status are shown in the user panel.

How are data packages billed, and do they expire?

Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They suit usage patterns without a fixed schedule and customers who prefer to pay for actual consumption. Choose based on your historical usage before purchasing.

When does monthly data reset, and what happens if I upgrade mid-cycle?

Monthly data resets each month on the activation date. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan, remaining status and target tier in the user panel, then submit the change after confirming the details so data packages and monthly billing are not confused.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. After selecting a plan in the user panel, see the available methods on the checkout page. Do not submit the same order again after payment. If the order status has not synced, keep the payment record and submit a ticket through the user panel for review.

How do I request a refund?

QhVPN offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To apply, submit a ticket in the user panel with the relevant order and refund request, and keep the payment record. Avoid opening multiple tickets for the same order so the details can be checked together.
